Nissan Motor's new concept car contains safety features that will not only detect a driver who is intoxicated but also one that is falling asleep. In both instances the car will institute a series of diagnostic protocols that will either lock out the car's ignition or in the later case, warn the driver with a wake up alarm. According to a Nissan spokesman: "The cars will hold the promise of eliminating drunk driving in the United States and other countries beginning in about ten years."
